Our Director, Tammy B, recently had the pleasure of connecting with Kadi from Cakes by Kadi, an exceptional 11-year-old auDHDer gaining recognition from public figures such as; the Hon Emily Bourke MLC, the Premier, Peter Malinauskas MP, and South Aussie With Cosi for her remarkable cake creations.
Inspired by Kadi's achievements, we're thrilled to share her story and products with our networks and the community. To support Kadi’s skill development and the purchase of cake equipment, we were proud to present her with a $150 contribution to her efforts. We eagerly anticipate following, working with, and highlighting more of Kadi’s journey as she gears up for another market in March 2024.
Kadi's cake creations are a fusion of flavour and resilience, and showcase some of the incredible talent that comes from within the autistic community. You can order Kadi’s marvellous creations/products through their Facebook page. Please note that Kadi requires some notice for orders, to support challenges around her executive function and energy levels.
Kadi is currently working towards acquiring an edible image printer and a portable fridge to support her scaling efforts.
If you know of any local businesses or individuals that might be willing to donate/support Kadi's aspirations, please email us at tammyb@tfcm.com.au or contact Kadi and her mum directly on their Facebook page, Cakes by Kadi.
The Full Circle Movement is a grassroots, peer-led initiative dedicated to celebrating and collaborating with talented neurodivergent individuals, particularly from younger generations. Our mission is to eradicate stigma, challenge stereotypes, and reshape harmful narratives.
In 2024, The Full Circle Movement will continue to channel some of its financial resources towards supporting neurodivergent youth to achieve remarkable things. Drop us an email to start the conversation - we're eager to explore sponsorship opportunities.
